Peter Luger belongs to the best steak restaurants in New York – and this was in no part directly related to the Michelin-Star-Award it recently received. The restaurant opened in 1897 and is located at the base of the Williamsburg-Bridge in Brooklyn. It is the number one address for fans of true Porterhouse steaks. It is the hot topic on the menue and year over year it is prepared with the same consistent cooking method: fried medium rare and cut to mouth-watering portions. Side orders are spinach, onion rings and fried potatoes, German style.
